Liu Xue Yi and Tiffany Tang Yan’s new TV show finally has a broadcast date. A Moment But Forever (念无双) is scheduled to be aired on iQIYI and Youku on 27 March 2025. Filming has been completed more than a year ago and hence, this has been a long wait for fans of the leads.
This new series will have 36 episodes and is adapted from a novel called Tian Xia Wu Shuang (天下无双) by Shi Si Lang. Love And Redemption and Love Of Thousand Years are also written by this same author. So, if you like the 2 earlier stories, there is much to look forward to for this new drama which is also in the fantasy/xianxia genre.
The Story
Thousands of years ago, a war between the gods and demons resulted in a powerful artifact to become lost in the mortal realm. The artifact was used to seal up the demons. Goddess Wu Shuang was entrusted to retrieve the artifact when a clan tries to take advantage of the chaos to start a war. The artifact has been residing in the body of a priest of Youhu clan. The priest is Yuan Zhong whom Wiu Shuang is supposed to kill.
However, Yuan Zhong has long been ostracized by his clan and Wu Shuang starts to sympathize with him. She discovers that there are secrets beneath the surface and things are not as simple as they seem. Along the journey to investigate the truth, Wu Shuang and Yuan Zhong also fall in love with each other. Together, they try to defeat the villain and bring peace to the world.
Liu Xue Yi plays Yuan Zhong while Tiffany Tang portrays Wu Shuang. Tiffany Tang’s involvement in dramas has been sparse ever since her marriage to Luo Jin in 2018. She only has 3 dramas released from 2019 until now. Thus, I bet all eyes will be on her when A Moment But Forever debuts later this month.
