Jiang Tian and Vin Zhang Bin Bin once worked together on Rattan which was broadcasted back in 2021. The drama attracted a lot of attention then with much discussion among viewers and netizens. It generated a Douban score of 6.9 and many people are satisfied with their collaboration. Now, there are rumors that both of them will be co-stars again in a new drama adapted from a web novel entitled Long Gu Fen Xiang (龙骨焚箱). It seems that fans are excited over this prospect and it has become a hot search item on the mainland.
Jing Tian’s recent works have not really taken off that well. Her cooperation with Zhang Ling He in Love’s Rebellion failed to impress the audience. Many felt that there is no chemistry between her and Zhang Ling He. Hence, the drama wasn’t that well-received. Similarly, Jiang Tian and Zhang Wan Yi also suffered more or less the same fate in their drama, Si Jin. The CP feeling just wasn’t strong enough to be able to give the drama a boost. Her older dramas, Wonderland Of Love and The Legend Of Zhuohua, with Xu Kai and Feng Shao Feng respectively did better compared to her more recent ones.
Now that Jing Tian may be working with Vin Zhang again, fans are hoping that they can replicate the same chemistry and success that they had with Rattan. Long Gu Fen Xiang is written by Wei Yu who is also the creator of Rattan. Apparently, the director of Rattan will also be working on this new production. Long Gu Fen Xiang is a fantasy story with adventure and supernatural elements.
